I had seen the floor plans on the internet and liked the loft one; all the resources said it was available at the end of June and even spoke to someone about it. Despite observing some negative reviews, I still filed an application since it was the best I could find at that price. Four days later, I tried calling the office several times to follow up, but no one answered. After doing some research, I discovered that the complex had been sued by their tenants and had numerous health and safety violations. Even then, I was willing to take a chance since I needed a place to live, so I called again on the fifth day. The lady was astounded when I mentioned I had already submitted an application, saying there had been no availability for months. What?! I had spoken to someone a week ago who said a unit was open, and their website allowed me to go through the whole application process and even took my money. There were multiple units to select from on the website. I asked why no one answered my call yesterday, and she said no one was in the office, on a weekday during normal business hours. Had I not contacted them multiple times, they would have kept my application fee without informing me of the lack of availability. Unbelievable. more ... hide ...
