Recently a new owner took over and cut back on the trash pickup to once a week rather than twice...which is inconvenient but acceptable. BUT, my friend just got a notice that there will no longer be trash pickup at all and that the residents are required to take their own trash to the huge dumpster (one dumpster for the entire complex) and toss it in. Seriously? This is a SENIOR apartment complex! Many seniors are on walkers or have issue walking or totally in wheelchairs. Is it REALLY always about the money? If you buy a senior apartment complex, educate yourselves on the needs of seniors, for goodness sake! Seniors are on fixed incomes for the most part so raising rent constantly doesnt work and trash pickup service is essential! more ... hide ... Making a rental inquiry
