Sadly, I will not recommend these apartments with the current manager. My experience with Davette Wells was unprofessional, long and deceitful. Never had i experience such treatment from an apartment complex.The application process went from Nov 13, 2020 - January 11, 2021. In that time frame, I was giving multiple reasons on why my application was taking so long. Upper management was out on leave, there system was down, but they didnt know it, there super busy.One morning I just showed up to the office. Davette welcomes me in. I told her \"Im here to check on my application status\". She informed me that they are working on it still. she said \"not to be nervous about it, I will be fine\". There trying to get us moved in by Dec 21st. Dec 21st gets here, I call her, oh i havent heard anything back from my boss. She calls me for the first time during my whole application process on Jan 4th to come in so she can make some corrections on my application. She said \"im trying to get yall in by jan 8th. Jan 8th gets here, i called her, she informed me that they are working on it now.Jan 11th gets here I get an email, not even a phone call asking can I call her ASAP. She told me that my income did not meet the requirement. This was something that could have been told to me back in November instead of just lingering. I asked \"why couldnt you tell me this in the beginning, she said \"im telling you now\". I told her im coming to get my deposit. As im getting my deposit she hand me an apartment brochure that I should look into that was super small and way more expensive. (Disrespectful)I was so patient with this property and all I recieved was deception and unprofessionalism. I do believe that how you treat people will always come back to you. Despite having a mostly great move, an essential part was not. Everyone I have interacted with has been kind and welcoming, and my apartment was ready to live in, except for a few items that needed to be repaired. Everyone I have interacted with has been kind and welcoming, and my apartment was ready to live in, except for a few items that needed to be repaired. Unfortunately, the elevator had been out of order for a few weeks and I was stuck with a full U-Haul truck. As a senior, my son and I had to lug everything up three flights of stairs, which was no easy feat. If I had brought a bed or couch, we would have been unable to move those. I am currently sleeping on an air mattress until the elevator is fixed. It is of the utmost importance that the elevator be restored as soon as possible; elderly people often struggle with stairs. Aside from that, my move was fine, but please, fix the elevator.more ...hide ...
