I have noticed two different homeless people charging their phones in the parking lot basement. I have also seen two other homeless people climb the fence to the pool to "bathe". They are not a threat, however, there is no security. When visiting, don't forget to inquire about the German cockroaches, which inhabit the walls and are difficult to eradicate. Pest control comes every two weeks, but I have had better results with items I purchased from Home Depot. Vehicles are often stolen from the premises and there is no security around the building. My car was stolen from the property before the current manager was in charge. Although this is an "affordable living" facility owned by Travis County, the rent increases by 10-20% each year, which is a lot for people with a fixed income. I have been here for two and a half years and there have been no improvements. The maintenance guy is fairly efficient. I am raising my rating to two stars, but there is no way this is a four-star property. Please look around before making a commitment. more ... hide ...
