There have been reports of cockroaches (the management even mentioned this when I first signed the lease), and a lot of spiders when we first moved in. I'm not sure if it was mold, but the air quality was not great. It could have been from the methane produced by the dairy farm nearby. Most of the neighbors are quiet, but there are elderly residents who will pry into your business and lie to the management to try and get you evicted. I even got my second violation for supposedly smoking illegal drugs and cigarettes in the breezeway after dark, which I don't do. This same neighbor has harassed my guests each time they come to visit. I don't know if she's only targeting me or other residents' guests too, because she's done it to a few of mine on their first visit. There are often police and ambulance visits to people's apartments, and there have been three reported house fires since I moved in. It's not a safe place to live. The diner behind the complex has even been robbed at gunpoint. Children and young people should not be walking around at night. If you can find and afford somewhere else, I recommend you do that instead of using this as a last resort.more ...hide ...

The apartment complex was a wonderful place to live until Linda Tugwell took over as property manager. Now the complex is filthy, has poor lighting in the parking lots. Repairs are not being made as requested. She talks about other residents business to other residents and the general public. She plays favouritism to her friends at The Ridge Apartments. For example I had a vehicle parked there with dead tags as well as other residents. Myself and others we warned to bring the tags up to date or be towed. I had to spend money that I didnt really have to bring my tags up to date and a friend of hers at the apartment complex was allowed to go 2 more months without being towed. I did bring this to Linda Tugwells attention and she got angry and started making trouble for me. This was in September and I believe that the van is still not up to date and has still not been towedmore ...hide ...
