I wasnt sure how she would like it because she agreed to move there without even touring the place (she moved from Gulfport, MS). Thankfully, she loves living at CPG. And with so many positive things she has experienced since being there, why wouldnt she?The daily care staff is very attentive and comes every day to check on her, take her trash out, make her bed, and straighten her kitchen. What a great benefit! The resident coordinator, November, deserves a personal call out. Just recently, she had members from the DMV come offer appointments at the actual residence, just in time for my Mom to get a handicap placard and a Virginia ID. On top of that, November walked the residents to/from their appointments. What superb service! The medical care has been phenomenal as well. The Director of Nursing, Precious, has an excellent bedside manner and has ensured my Mom receives the best care possible from her Primary Care doctor. She even helped my Mom order a birthday cake for my birthday. My Mom was so happy that she could get me a cake and make it a surprise. Precious went above and beyond there. Truly awesome!Lisa, the physical therapist, began working with my Mom the week she arrived. In just over a month, the pt has increased both her mobility and overall health.Kim, the administrator, has been outstanding with overall service and making sure my Mom is settling in. She also helped me find some grants that will help subsidize my Moms cost of care. Indeed, above and beyond. My Mom loves the new friends she has made there and routinely brags about how well she does at the local Jeopardy competition.I cant say enough about how significant CPG has been to my Moms happiness and overall health. Im so fortunate to have found this place and to have my Mother living there.more ...hide ...
