I asked if there was a brochure or something to look at, and after she made an exasperated sound, she stood up and began going through some papers. She inquired about how many people would live in the apartment, and I informed her it would be one. She then asked if I met the income requirement of $21,000, to which I mentioned that I was a student. She asked, "You're a full-time student?" I answered yes, and she bluntly said, "We don't rent to full-time students." I inquired if there was anything I could do about having a co-signer sign, but she repeated, "We don't rent to full-time students." The whole exchange was extremely dissatisfying, and it was more than enough of a reason to not move there - who would want to deal with that on a regular basis? I left the building with the full intention of calling the housing authority. While being a student is a protected class under fair housing law and cannot be discriminated against, rental properties are legally allowed to set their own rental requirements. Very Ghetto place to live i didnt know what i had got myself into because from the outside looking in everything looked good and i loved the apartment especially my closet plus my rent was amazing but it was ghetto When time came to move they didnt g Very Ghetto place to live i didnt know what i had got myself into because from the outside looking in everything looked good and i loved the apartment especially my closet plus my rent was amazing but it was ghetto When time came to move they didnt give me my deposit back because of Carpet cleaning and repainting the walls now mind you i never really stayed there because i didnt have a car and my job was located in Boonsboro so the apartment was Never messy because no one was ever there 2 i had a 1 bedroom no children and really no one ever came over because i myself was NEVER THERE my deposit was 425 IT COST 425 TO CLEAN CARPETS AND PAINT WALLS THAT WASNT EVEN DIRTY I Had refuse to pay them so they took me to court and charged 300 in court fees I had no chose but to pay them because i could never be approved by another property oh and they claim i was missing a key when i never took my keys off the chain nor did i make any copies they are full of it and i wouldnt dare move in here Brownstone Properties has better and affordable homes i love them more ... hide ...

This has been the worse renting experience Ive ever had I lived here for 3 years starting off in a two bedroom apartment at phase 2 of Timber Ridge It started off great I always had a parking spot close to my apartmentmanagement was understanding and This has been the worse renting experience Ive ever had I lived here for 3 years starting off in a two bedroom apartment at phase 2 of Timber Ridge It started off great I always had a parking spot close to my apartmentmanagement was understanding and professional I has another child and decided to move into a 3 bedroom which meant I had to move to the complex by the office which was fine I never had a parking spot near my apartment not even close unless I got home before 3pm which wasnt happening because I worked 85 everyday Residents were very careless and didnt keep the complex clean The dumpster could be completely empty with trash all around it The breezeway as were trashy never powerwashed trash every where I still stuck it out Then management changed and thats when everything went down hill I got a notice that my rent would be increasing I asked around to see if anyone elses was increasing they all said no theirs was actually decreasing The lady in the office response was I just put what I see on the paper the final straw was when my rent was stolen out of the drop box I dropped a money order off after hours as Ive done for the past 3 years and never had an issue before They put all responsibility on me for my rent being stolen from their leasing office so filed a claim with western union in attempts to get the money back They confirmed that the money order was cashed in Florida in someone elses name I also filed a police report This incident occurs in August of 2017 I moved out due to this in September 2017 So it is now October I havent heard anything about the money order or my security deposit or my prorate on September since I paid the full month of September and was told I needed to be out by September 25th because thats when my lease will renew for another year So I called and spoke with the manager of the leasing office today and he explained to me it was a big mess and he still hasnt heard anything about getting the money back and he concluded by saying if there isnt enough evidence you will be responsible for paying the rent again even though others rent was stole as well on that same day and this wasnt the first time rent has been stolen This has been such a big headache Yes the apartments are spacious and the rate is decent but its not even almost worth dealing with them more ... hide ...
