But if you do, you know that there have been four shootings in February alone, three of them right here, and more if you include the past six months. This great location has recently been featured on Washingtons Most Wanted; there are three drug dealers in the building, and if you can't get in, the guy with the dreadlocks outside is available after dark. You can also just stand in the alley and yell for Mark, and no one will stop you. Inside, there are several places in the stairwells where you can use your drugs and even take a nap; ask your dealer for directions before you leave, and yes, shopping carts are allowed. There is security on site, but they are just there to observe – you can find them sleeping in the office, in a car nearby, or among the night's guests on the stairs. Look for the word "Security" on their shirt. If you are attacked, robbed, or hurt, please make your way to the nearest entrance. Security won't do anything unless you make it to one of the entrances before screaming for help. For those committing a crime, feel free to wave at security and say thank you; they won't stop you and they aren't paid to care. There are no ATMs on site, but there are ten laundry rooms to break into if you bring your own tools and take your time getting away using the nearest fire escapemore ...hide ...

I think that the building has had its share of problems and the management has addressed them. I feel comfortable here now and I feel the owners are genuinely concerned. Its up to me, the tenant, to be in a nice place. And I feel the management is on the right track. We will make this building a great place to live. Any problem starts with me and not my neighbors. That itself is a problem when you see something you dont approve of and make it bad without doing anything about that:)more ...hide ...
