When I was a victim of domestic violence, the manager at the time did nothing about it, disregarding the tenants right law. My neighbors across the hall were always excessively loud, teenagers playing music at top volume. Many parents were not taking care of their kids, and I felt like one of the few parents that were outside watching their children. There were also issues with the dumpsters being filled with furniture and un-bagged used cat litter, and broken down cars parked in multiple spots. Additionally, my tub faucet broke and it took the maintenance man two weeks (16 days) to fix it while I and my kids stayed in a hotel (for which I was not compensated, and they expected me to pay rent when the apartment was inhabitable). We had to turn off the water to the entire apartment to turn off the tub, so we were left without water. The heaters kept heating up and smoking, so we were freezing in the winter since those were never repaired either. Even with all of these drawbacks, it was still a nice place to live and was generally safe. It was close to town, which was a plus. However, it needs to be improved. more ... hide ...
