From holding the door open for movers bringing a mattress for another resident, where they failed to throw away the large box it came in and leave it in the parking garage; after 2 phone call attempts and an email from the landlord (in their defense, I was away at work those two days) I was sent an invoice for breaking down boxes without even being asked a question or given a chance of explanation. Furthermore, despite asking for proof within my lease that my apartment had been shown to potential residents without my permission or knowledge (I had already submitted a 60 day notice), I received an email thanking me for this when returning home after being gone one week. Moreover, on Tuesday of that same week there was a note stuck under my door with regards to another showing on Thursday - again without having spoken about it first.
Although rent is fairly priced here, if you value your privacy/respect then living here is not recommended as I have been a good tenant paying rent promptly for almost one year yet departing with no positive note.more ...hide ...
