Initially, I was hesitant to move in due to some of the reviews, but I found it to be better than what was described. I have lived in both an efficiency and a one bedroom apartment, both of which were satisfactory. The office staff were very helpful with our move and that made the transition easier considering all the wedding planning. I never had a problem with soundproofing or feeling unsafe. All maintenance requests were taken care of quickly and properly. Finding parking can be a bit difficult, but the surrounding side streets provide plenty of spots. The units and shared spaces are kept very clean. I have had nothing but a positive experience here and would definitely suggest it to others. Tours are available to get a better feel of the place. The utilities are included in both the efficiency and one bedroom apartments, which is an added bonus. Wedgewood Commons has been accommodating and I would highly recommend it! more ... hide ...

2023-01-14T05:07:16ZI am moving to La Crosse for a new job with a rigid start date Luckily I found an apartment to rent with availability a few days before I need to start The day after I apply the website was changed to push back the availability date at least one week I am moving to La Crosse for a new job with a rigid start date Luckily I found an apartment to rent with availability a few days before I need to start The day after I apply the website was changed to push back the availability date at least one week maybe more I wouldnt have applied if I had known the movein date I was told wasnt accurate Also the application fee is an absurdly high price of 109 and includes a hard credit pull Fortunately they fleeced me out of only 9 which they refuse to repay I know it wasnt an intentional bait and switch but the movein date was important to me and it was switched only after I applied Very disappointed the management didnt make it right by reimbursing menn112nI dont know how to respond below so Ill do it herennWhether or not you get the 9 dollars I wouldnt have lost it if I wasnt misled by your website Im just saying that if youre going to charge a high application fee and potentially affect someones credit you better make sure your website isnt misleading potential tenants into applyingnnI understand that cleaning and repairs are required between tenants but do you Its your website its your maintenance schedule yet you left no time for yourself to complete these tasks The only mistake I made was assuming you would account for required maintenance on your own website Other units said call for availability Why couldnt you say that if you dont know your own remodeling schedule And you didnt say it was vacant as you claim below you specifically used the word available If you say an apartment is available when it isnt it is incredibly misleadingnnI wouldnt have kept harping on this but I find your responses really lazy and frustrating It was clearly a simple mistake you couldve just said sorry heres your money back well revise how our website works Whatever it happens Instead they come back with the same patronizing response every time Did you know that apartments need maintenance And the excuse with the website automatically putting the wrong date doesnt reflect well on your system or entirely add up because I know you can edit the website it was changed the morning after I appliednnreturnthe9nn113nWhere the money ends up is irrelevant Id still have it if you didnt falsely advertise a major selling point on your website Any plans to update the way the website works to avoid this in the futurennreturnthe9 more ... hide ...

2021-08-21T07:04:36ZAttempted to have my car towed from my usual lot on the day of my move out The sticker they left on the window to notify me the day prior was incredibly difficult to take off and was the last thing I wanted to have to deal with during the move out pr Attempted to have my car towed from my usual lot on the day of my move out The sticker they left on the window to notify me the day prior was incredibly difficult to take off and was the last thing I wanted to have to deal with during the move out process Not to mention the sticker cited that the lot was only for tenants which I had been for well over a year at that point Aside from this living here was an okay experience The washers and dryers provided werent the best and broke pretty often but they were always quick to have them fixed The unit itself was nice enough for the price The office people were always very pleasant as were the maintenance personnel Had an issue with the shower late one night and maintenance arrived fairly swiftly to take care of it so that was nice I see a lot of people on here giving five stars for the landlord taking care of basic landlord duties that any decent landlord would do Two stars from me and wouldve been three if it werent for the attempted tow last minute more ... hide ...
