Fortunately, a kind lady who worked there for a short while (and I think got fired for allowing us to break our lease) released us. At the time, I was six months pregnant and living with our infant son and husband in a horror show. People were breaking into the security system to let homeless people sleep inside, there were many drug users leaving needles in the lobby, where our toddler was crawling, smokers were being disregarded, our residence was twice flooded and we were not provided any remedy, so we had to sleep on our couch with our baby. They promised us an inspection for mold, though they never treated the ceilings, and my husband was sick for months, but they did not follow through and denied that they said they would, though I had the email with the date it was supposed to be finished. Our storage unit was broken into, and my husband was struck by a woman who also tried to burn him with her cigarette after he greeted her in the parking lot. They had informed us when we moved in that they kept the nails from the prior tenants so we wouldn't make extra holes, but still charged for nail removal on our move-out deposit, even though we didn't do it. The maintenance crew are some of the most amazing people I have ever met, kind and compassionate, and my goodness they were so friendly. They were part of the family in my opinion, always there to help or answer questions and even just to chat. The only reason we moved was we needed a bigger place, I can say now I regret it as the new experience is not even close. If they ever open up a 3 bed room apartment I will be first in line! This place is a scam. They calculated my rent wrong when I moved in and instead of owning up to it, their doing anything to get me evicted. They told me to hold off on Junes rent till the end of June to see my income, thThis place is a scam. Counting sporadic income that states in their handbook they dont count! Didnt accept my Junes rent payment, and now trying to evict me for not paying it! Do NOT stay here.
