5 year resident here. 3 stars since I know the complex has new owners and wont get everything correct the first time around. However, they need to work on answering the phones, responding to voice messages as well as emails. Communication Communication Communication. Many residents have been displaced, many of whom have been veterans on a fixed income because of course they have to keep up with the market and no longer accept VASH. I was due to renew my lease at the start of the year. I did that but when I requested a copy, it wasnt available. It was always, let me call you back. I didnt get an answer until 2 months later. They didnt renew because there was a balance on my account. If that was the case, why wasnt that said when I first inquired about it????. A balance was created because they failed to apply payments to my account. The only way that I was aware my lease wasnt renewed, is because they actually took the time to call me to see when Id be paying my past due balance of a $200 month to month fee and $100 late fee. Had no Knowledge that Id be automatically placed on month to month, especially since I had been Inquiring about the lease I had already signed. Not a call or letter. Not all apartments have been renovated so dont get your hopes up thinking youre getting some updated, mold and roach free space. There is a monthly fee for exterminating which I dont mind but these apartments should be treated just as much as the lawn is maintained. In the 6 months since the property was sold, my apartment has been treated once. A walk through/photos was done to note any deficiencies but it was all for show because no one ever came back to do any repairs of any sort. The place has potential. Okay thats all for now. This review is not in reference to the $1000 give-away. People just need an honest review. more ... hide ...

When I grew up here it was fun they were shooting a lot but I knew everybody we use to always be outside but that was 4 5 6 7 8 years ago I live there for 10 years I always went outside and had fun play basketball went t o the back park but now its boring nobody out there shooting but wen I was out there it. Was fun everyone came outside bad kids bike stolen everything almost the same but everyone was outsideLike everyone use to come out play basketball and all that now I would live over there but harbison west is fun they made a basketball team for me wen I was in 3rd grade and it been going on for about 5 years more ... hide ...

I moved down here from NY and have been here over a year and its decent. I dont like that they always switch hands on who owns the property because I end up having to wait longer to get things fixed. For the most part they are small things. I live in the front of the complex so a lot of mischief is avoided. However I do feel they should do better with their rules. I took my autistic son to the pool and the young kids in there had no supervision and was doing things in the pool that were disgusting. I wont be taking him back. I also dont like that they dont do updates on the apartment every year. No matter where you go you have foolishness, but myself and my family mind our business pay our rent and follow the rules as best as we can and we are good neighbors.
