Heat included, but thermostat is not controlled or marked with Temperature. People leave windows open in winter in most units because its too hot. Single mechanical A/C unit in each apartment.Underground parking is $42/mo. extra. Last few years focus has been on building new units, not maintenance. Great Residential Manager for Unit I & II. Most units have very large linen closet in bathrooms, but those with linen closet in hall is too small to be functional. Sprinkler system. WiFi included in rent but Streaming Not Allowed!!!!Laminated beige cabinets are not ageing well. Cuts to maintenance are significant. Company focusing on new construction.

I was able to work at Mt. Pleasant home for three years, and feel truly blessed to have this experience. The residents, staff, and unique facility truly made me feel at home. I found that the other staff members often went above and beyond what was required of them to make the residents feel welcome and to keep the facility safe. The home has a very unique atmosphere, so I would encourage people to schedule a tour if possible. I often feel a certain nostalgia when thinking about the time spent at this residence, and will forever be grateful to those who made working at Mt. Pleasant Home possible.

There was filthy gunk built up under the tiles in my bathroom which was seems to have been built up for months, probably mold, which also caused my tiles to bulge upwards. Im contacting a city inspector. Many units have bed bugs. Slowly the apartment fell apart. Closet doors fell off hinges, my drawer in my cabinet fell sompletely apart. Burners on my stove stopped working and management is very very very poor and NOSEY!!!! I understand it is section 8, but does not mean that the apartments should have been neglected.

There is new management now, and they are trying to work with me, but old management did not put in any paper work in my file besides me moving in. THEN they told me my rent was one amount (then I had my daughter sonrent went down and they had no paperwork of that so I owed them a lot of money unless I gave proof) and now they are saying my rent was never as high as it was and that it was actually 10-15 dollars cheaper. So from the time I moved in to the time I had my daughter I was technically over paying them but they (the old management) never told me. So my question is, were they taking from me? But the new management is trying to figure out what went wrong.

Rules are changed whenever the director feels its necessary to her satisfaction. The owner & directer go by the theory, \"if you dont like it there, move\". They also go by \"If yur going to act like children, you will be treated like children.\" The director has her degree in child psychology and uses it on the residents as if they are children. Then goes out in the community and brags about it.

Poor Management. The Manager Janice encouraged my downstairs neighbor (Maryanne) to be nosey. It became so bad that the neighbor became a stalker . Spending her days and nights with every light on in her house and every window and blind open, standing at her patio door watching people come and go. Maryanne began asking children their personal business and watching the homes of others driving past looking inside.The neighborhood looks nice but it is GHETTO! The kids fight all the time and there is literally one parent watching them. I have seen parents leave their children at the playground and jump in their cars and leave.Not a place or community to live in long term.
