I have extremely mixed feelings about this place. To start off the application process was a disaster. Like 2-3 months in they tried to raise our rent but then they took that back. Our mail key didnt work, no screens on our windows (which we never received in our 6 months before we gave up asking) My neighbor was a drug addict/dealer and was constantly loud and publicly intoxicated and nothing was done about her until after we had paid WAY too much in fees to move out because I couldnt handle my neighbor anymore. As we wanted to leave they threw in that we didnt give them enough notice so we had to pay a full months rent on top of fees. Meanwhile the property we were going to move into we paid for because we had agreed to room with someone and we didnt want to short them. Needless to say we are broke, my wedding venue got cancelled because we couldnt pay for it and we are currently living with fiances parents.I have mixed feelings though because management was super helpful with the horrible application process (Carol specifically) the other woman was rude and not helpful. But as we left management changed and the place started to actually get cleaned up so I kind of regret leaving my lease. But why was the drug addict there so long? The homeless people? This has been an okay place to live. Generally quiet, maintenance is good, and parking is acceptable. The management is ... interesting. We have 1 longtime staff member who always does his best to get things done. But th e head manager is rude, and has very poor customer service skills. She is relatively new and seems to have alot on her plate recovering paperwork mistakes of her predecessor. The end reason why we moved out is stress; 3-4 times during the year(every 2-3months) we have a notice on our door to do \"such and such\" within 10 days or be evicted. Its related to the government tax credit this place receives. Even when we have done what they asked, turned in paperwork and gotten the okay its done- a couple months later we get word that its wrong and need to redo it or be evicted in 10 days. Talk about stress! We dont even seem to get a lower rent from this \"government tax break\". There are other apartments without this headache in the same price range. more ... hide ...
