I wish I wouldve kept on looking instead of deciding to rent here. When I got here the old company Monarch at Liberty Pointe was here, they were polite, any issue I had was resolved instantaneously, pool was kept up, as well as gym. The laundry room only issue was that people would leave their clothes in the washer or dryer and take forever to come back for them. Its been under new management for a little over a month probably, and its already going downhill, some of my neighbors who have been here 5+ years rent is going up without notice, constantly have to put in work orders because now they act like they have to get contractors to come in and do the work, which before maintenance tried to fix your issues, and did a pretty good job. My apartment and others that Ive talked to are steady having issues with their air conditioning. When I first walked in this apartment to view it, it looked actually decent, came back to bring my stuff and start doing a light wipe down, and noticed the carpet werent cleaned (dog hair EVERYWHERE, windows, doors, walls, BASEBOARDS, everything had dog hair!!!!! Even the kitchen in the cabinets!!!!! I have tried the whole time Ive lived here to get that dog hair out and I cant!!! Its matted into the carpet, and STUCK in the paint of the baseboards and walls. Which takes me to the paint, its horrible do not dare try to clean your walls. That rough cheap paint will come right off! Which I know these things come from last Management and reflect on their cheap ways of keeping up the apartments. But now that a new company is here they need to start focusing on these apartments as well, and doing something about our complaints!!! For three weeks there was constantly trash built up at the trash compactor, to where you had to climb over trash to put your trash in a semi empty compactor... WHY IS THERE A CAMERA AT THE TRASH IF YOU ARENT GOING TO IDENTIFY OFFENDERS!! The pool started always being locked, the gate to the gym and laundry room started being locked all the time (used to be open at night) the car wash is NOT a car wash. Its a parking spot at the back of the property, and doesnt even have a hose pipe attached to it! The clubhouse never has events or food for the community anymore. And people from the apartments next door has cut a hole in the fence to come over to our pool (even when our pool is locked you can hear them out there). Also in the past month Ive started seeing crackheads, and TWO prostitues. Also my neighbors car got broke into. Im sick of it. Im not paying $800+ for this type of environment. So yes I broke my lease to leave.. but I refuse to put my hard earned money into what this place is becoming. The perks to staying here arent being kept up so basically all you have is an apartment! The gym equipment doesnt even work properly! One of my neighbors got so tired of waiting for them to do something about his POOR carpet that he took it up, bought some out of his pocket, and put it down before he moved his stuff in! Its sad!! Instead of going up on price bring it down!! New management has a lot of improvements to do before them apartments are worth the money. I hate that I even wasted my time here. Oh and it has BAD ROACHES!!!! EVERYWHERE, parking lot, balcony (mine is cracking btw), your apartment. Also there is mold under the kitchen flooring that shows through on mine and a lady who lives out here that I talked to and seen it myself. If you want to live somewhere that any issue to bring to the attention of someone, they put it off on YOU being wrong, and then doing a damn good job of making you feel like you have no right to complain, then welcome home, to Carver Falls! Im telling you, if you dont want to waste your money, and you want the amenities that is listed on the website, then dont come here. ***also if you do come and look at an apartment, where shoes that you dont mind stepping in dog waste with. Because its everywhere. Dogs arent on leashes half the time, one is giant German Shepard, theres a hunting dog that tries to attack anyone he sees! more ...

By far the worst place Ive ever lived in my life. I highly highly recommend staying far away from this residence. This review is coming from an Army Captain who moved in to the complex to save money. This pla ce has so many hidden convenience fees that its not worth it. Find something nicer for the extra $100-$200 a month as youll inevitably pay for it in the end. Dont be awed by the temporary apartment as its way nicer then what youll actually move into. The blinds are cheap and break easily which youll end up being charged for. The walls scuff easily and the kitchen sinks have plumbing issues. Heres where things started to get personal for me.The apartment complex wouldnt prorate for the month in which I deployed and my year rental agreement ended. They are clearly not military friendly nor understanding of the hours you work or your service and commitment. The main appeal was the pool which was closed for half the summer waiting on a safety inspection and a gated community in which the gate breaks every other week and remains open allowing anyone to come in. Multiple tenants had packages stolen during my time there. The place has undergone new management and the women at the front are helpful, which may be better then what it was. However the maintenance supervisor and team hasnt changed. Their maintenance staff is courteous but every time I had a maintenance issue or work order completed, they would leave trash in my apartment. The tipping point for this place was when I had a sewage block; which I found out at 1900 after work. The upstairs tenant had flushed the toilet causing the bathtub and toilet to over flow with fecal water. The maintenance staff did not respond to the emergency call until 2200. I was charged $500 for an after hours plumber and charged $50 for the maintenance supervisor to show up on site after hours. I was then charged an additional $40 for a 2 week late fee because I refused to pay the maintenance supervisor for something that was never agreed upon on or in the original contract. Village Gate Apartments then sent me an eviction notice two weeks later right before I was moving out due to deploying to Poland. The maintenance supervisor is a complete joke and should be ashamed. The rental agreements fine print holds every tenant liable for plumbing blockages but the fact they didnt answer the emergency work line for three hours is frankly unacceptable. Please save yourself the headache and your hard earned money by living somewhere else thats actually understanding of you and your family.
