Wish I could give no stars. Wad trying to rent a 3 bed 2 bath and because of certain circumstances I had less than a month to find a place. Had scheduled a tour of the 3 bed but when we get there are told that its not av ailable for tour and they show us a 2 bed. We shrug it off and tried to fill our the application anyways. 2 days before move in. But over the next day or two we keep having issues with our application going through. Nothing prompted us to even pay the application fee. After over a week of trying to call over and over leaving messages and no answers or call backs, we finally get the answer and try to get everything together finally for them to say that its first come first serve and that the apartment might not even be available anymore. But they cant check because there was someone there in the office even though they were already talking to me on the phone. They promised to call back but they never did. Dont rent here if you can avoid it. If they cant even be professional enough to get you the help to get into the darn apartment in the first place. more ... hide ...

I have lived at Woods Edge for 2 years, and I have loved the apartment. The open concept living room-kitchen with the half-wall/bar is great. I love the carpeted in-apartment stairs and the balcony with an external stora ge closet. The washer and dryer hookup in apartment, pantry and linen closet spaces, and vanity mirror in the bathroom have been great too.The complex is on the bus route (but still quiet), which is great for quick Walmart trips, trips to Ball States campus, or to downtown. Its near Walmart and Concannons Bakery. Its also outside of the normal Ball State student housing.Overall, the best thing about the apartment is the staff. Collin is always kind and helpful with whatever you might need. Maintenance has been efficient, friendly, respectful, timelyall good things. They leave notes in advance for planned maintenance checks. They have taken care of both bigger things like clearing a clogged pipe and the small things like removing a birds nest.The only downsides to this complex, in my opinion, were that there were no community events to meet neighbors, the prices are a little higher than other complexes in the area, and there is no fitness center.
