Lived there for 4.5 years, from 2012 to 2016. It was nice for the first year and a half where the staff was friendly, responsive, and had an overall neighborly feel. The next 3 years showed a steady decline in terms of qu ality that continued until the point where I had to leave. It started with continued rent increases with no real improvement to things like flooding laundry rooms or road construction. However, the real problem were the tenants that were allowed to stay there. During my time Ive witnessed vandalism in the forms of theft of property, vandalism from kids throwing rocks at windows, domestic disputes in the parking lot in the middle of the day, excessive smoking in front of other neighbors windows, the destruction of the covered parking spots by UPS trucks with no warning or compensation to the parked cars underneath belonging to residents, and drug use/dealings.The drug use was really the final straw. I walked in on someone doing cocaine in the laundry room that Im not even sure lived there. And my last neighbors smoked marijuana so heavily in their apartment that the smell permeated into my bathroom. If management was actually helpful and respectful about resolving these things, I would be more generous with the review, but they were far from accommodating. My job has a zero tolerance policy, so I could not risk being so close to these criminal activities on this frequent of a basis, and had requested to break my lease. Management told me \"No\", and claimed that the only option I had was to move to a different apartment complex within the \"Dawn Homes Community\", all of which were more expensive, and had to sign on for another full years lease. They claimed that this was the \"only solution to your problem\" even though the man I talked to didnt know which complex I was at, what type of apartment I had, or even how long Ive been at this location, yet claimed he knew all the details of the situation.I cannot speak to the past 3 years of this location, and whether or not it has improved, but I would highly recommend against it, and would advise you find a different complex, especially one outside of the \"Dawn Homes Community\" more ... hide ...
