Lived there for 45 years from 2012 to 2016 It was nice for the first year and a half where the staff was friendly responsive and had an overall neighborly feelnnThe next 3 years showed a steady decline in terms of quality that continued until the poiLived there for 45 years from 2012 to 2016 It was nice for the first year and a half where the staff was friendly responsive and had an overall neighborly feelnnThe next 3 years showed a steady decline in terms of quality that continued until the point where I had to leave It started with continued rent increases with no real improvement to things like flooding laundry rooms or road construction However the real problem were the tenants that were allowed to stay there During my time Ive witnessed vandalism in the forms of theft of property vandalism from kids throwing rocks at windows domestic disputes in the parking lot in the middle of the day excessive smoking in front of other neighbors windows the destruction of the covered parking spots by UPS trucks with no warning or compensation to the parked cars underneath belonging to residents and drug usedealingsnnThe drug use was really the final straw I walked in on someone doing cocaine in the laundry room that Im not even sure lived there And my last neighbors smoked marijuana so heavily in their apartment that the smell permeated into my bathroomnnIf management was actually helpful and respectful about resolving these things I would be more generous with the review but they were far from accommodating My job has a zero tolerance policy so I could not risk being so close to these criminal activities on this frequent of a basis and had requested to break my lease Management told me No and claimed that the only option I had was to move to a different apartment complex within the Dawn Homes Community all of which were more expensive and had to sign on for another full years lease They claimed that this was the only solution to your problem even though the man I talked to didnt know which complex I was at what type of apartment I had or even how long Ive been at this location yet claimed he knew all the details of the situationnnI cannot speak to the past 3 years of this location and whether or not it has improved but I would highly recommend against it and would advise you find a different complex especially one outside of the Dawn Homes Communitymore ...hide ...

Worst place Ive lived, tried paying the rent online and the payment got denied after a few days and they locked the account so you cant pay online. Ive never had to pay water and sewer in an apartment. The building is like 70 years old and run down, no washer and dryer, no dishwasher, broken doors, leaking sink, clogged drain, sliding doors didnt slide, paint all over the glass on the sliding doors, missing the shelves and poles in the closet. Cheapest refrigerator and stove you can buy, and this was\"recently renovated\" allegedly. All for the small price of 1800+ a month. Oh...and theres barely any lighting so you need to bring your own.more ...hide ...
