My mother waited on wait list four and a half years and was at top of list .now when she should be moving they said she had a letter sent with know response so they took her off the list and my mom never received letter and they never called eventhough my mom has a message phone. In order to still move in this apartment my mom now has to reapply and wait at least another four years. Either she was treated this way because she is african American or they just have bad management more ... hide ...

After months of paying a certain amount rent they call and say I have been paying too much rent and they cant accept the check. I ask them if I subtract off next month rent for my brother and they say no, because if ten ant has a credit on account they cant evict him. My brother has lived there for at least a couple decades with no issue. Then I ask if they can mail me a refund. They say no, it is my problem. I informed them the money already out of the account. They said the only thing they could do would be to return the check and I could send them the correct amount but there would be additional late fees. They said the check, took a week to get there from US BANK bill pay? I was also told there would be additional late fees since I overpaid and would have to send another check. Late fees are accessed by when received, not when mailed they told me. This makes it impossible to know the right amount!Why cant they just send a refund, they have the money, and can do right amount going forward? more ... hide ...

I love this old building its on the national historical registry list it is over 100 years old and it started his life as three separate buildings. Reached by the building several years ago and they updated it to the for the earthquake codes but they wasnt able to touch the outside of the building so its all the original brickwork and unfortunately with since its on the national historic registry list they wasnt able to update the windows that face the outside of the building so theyre drafting but its still a beautiful building. There is a total of four floors one of them being a basement that has five units. Our building Has wonderful floor plans has one bedroom in studio apartments. We also have an elevator, there is laundry facilities on site theres a community room there is also a computer room here and it courtyard of that is the smoking section in the basement which is all open air. Before covid-19 we had community dinners at least once a month, arts and crafts that was led by some of the residents here and a few other community orientated things. Theres a cleaning crew that comes through I think at least once a week and vacuums the community areas and cleans up the community areas of the building. We are in the goose hollow neighborhood near Providence Park in stadium place Fred Meyers were not very far from The Pearl in 23rd avenue theres a lot of interesting things around thats within walking distance and its pretty quiet here for the most part he gets a little noisy during the summer with the timbers quit playing but must be expected usually by 10:00 its pretty mellowed out we have a miniature golf place in a parking lot behind our building its one of those summertime pop up coming back this summer. more ... hide ...
