Called this place this past Friday and asked what I need to apply. Im told $25 app fee and $200 security deposit. I get down there and then Im told I need to have income proof. I come back today with everything after pay ing for the background check they call me on the phone saying they have income restrictions you have to have 2x the rent as income, I asked why didnt you say that before paying for the background check and she just said theyll give me my money order back! All that should matter is that you can pay the rent! Places like this contribute to the homeless population with their 2 to 3times the rent restrictions!!! more ... hide ...

Management is very good; they try really hard to make life easier for residents. Some here are your typical crotchety, mean-spirited codgers. But actually, residents run the gamut. By the time youre of the age to be e ligible for this building, you should have the life experience to discern who is of your ilk and who is not, saving you from any bad friendship-making experiences. Staff is friendly enough, but the overall experience of living at this complex has been unsatisfactory. Continuous issues with our apartment that just get quick fix repairs, if repaired at all. No regard for the resident s and their well-being , just the paychecks they provide. Was shown an upscale, renovated apartment and got the complete opposite, outdated and nothing like the unit I was shown. Continuously hit with random fees or issues months down the road, without explanation. This is my second time renting here and the last. My heat went out about a year ago in winter...snow, freezing temps, and it took a whopping two full weeks to get it fixed. Management took $100 off my rent...it should have been at least what two weeks rent was worth...i ts a landlords responsibility to supply heat in winter especially when rent is a mortgage payment! I do love my little unit and the building is secure and quiet. I overall really love it here but sadly I cannot continue to keep up with these rent increases and they are large increases too...although I understand that is dictated by the market. I have been here over 3 years. The management and the staff are great absolutely excellent! But Im a renter which means I will be priced out of here probably within the next year. I look forward to living in my vehicle. more ... hide ...
