This post is on behalf of my mother Eddie mae brown...she lives in Westchester village south....she is disabled and she feels like she is being discriminated against ,. Shes been lied to by management, saying they were gonna give her a better apartment, where she lives now is too small, no room. Shes outgrowing it, also parking issues she has to walk a long ways because when her ride comes they cant park in front of her door , because management doesnt respect the fact that she has a disability, so they make her walk.......not Fair at all!!...... Management please get your act together and do the RIGHT THING BY MY MOM!!.... more ... hide ...

I had an apartment here for a year and had issues with maintenance and the office throughout my time there. When I moved in the hot water was not heating up, I made three maintenance calls for it to be examined when on t he third attempt a worker visited when I was home and understood the problem. During the process a piece in my shower broke and they had to make a service call for a welder to come out and fix it. They had turned off my water during the service and could not turn it back on because it would leak into the apartment below me so I went a week without running water in my entire apartment. They gave me keys to go to another building just so I could shower and use the bathroom. I did not receive a discount or any reimbursement for the inconvenience. When the welding company came to resolve the issue they cut a hole through my closet, I had to submit a maintenance request to have someone come out and patch it, there was no follow-up.That was just one of the problems I experience. At one point the heating coil for my oven caught fire and I had to pull it forward to stop the fire. The next day when I went into the office to report the issue the woman barely cared about how dangerous the issue was. The light in my closet was out until the month I moved out because they needed to order a part to fit it.I genuinely thought the maintenance workers were polite and friendly. They always made small talk when they visited and always knocked before entering. Things were just constantly breaking. more ... hide ...
