I want to know why you kept some of my daughters security deposit at The Ridge of Shelbyville? You stated that it was for the 4 days that she moved out early in the month of move out. Her full months rent was paid by the 1st of the month of move out, when it was due. So why do you feel that you should get paid twice for them days? Management is in the business of trying to keep your security deposit and some, if you do not carefully notate everything during move in and move out, followed by pictures, video and signed documents. But this is the first I ever heard of them keeping some because you move out 4 days early before your lease expired and you did not owe anything?My daughters rights were violated on so many levels by Your company:First, you filed charges on her to have her locked up and arrested for assault, which was proved to be false in court.Second, you filed for a 3 day, illegal eviction, stating that she hit management. which was prove to be false in court also. Although she told you everything was video taped and your representative made false allegations against her, you still went forward with the separate assault charge and the illegal eviction in court, which cost her plenty in legal fees for each case. She beat both the assault case and the illegal eviction. Had she not had the video tape or a paid attorney, there is no telling how the outcome would have been. It is too our knowledge that you have been doing this for some time to people because you know that they do not have the money and/or resources to fight against you.Third, illegally withholding portion of her security deposit. Knowing that her move out was recorded by her and your representative stating and signing off on it that there were no damages. So, she has recorded and a signed document from you.Every time she reach out to you, via email or via phone conversations, you give her a hard time. You never want to hear her side or even view her videos ever.You could have spared her and yourself the extra money that it costed on both you and her that it took to retain a lawyer. This whole ordeal that your company has put here though was done in violation of her rights and she will see you in courts again to get her full security deposit back, and more, for you illegally withholding portion of it past the 30 days and never giving her anything in writing as to why? She will be asking for attorney fees that she incurred for the false charges. She will be seeking lost wages and pain and suffering and any additional fees she will incur.Through it all, you never even gave her a verbal or written apology but you fired the person that put her through this, so we heard. more ... hide ...

I called to see if any openings. Person who awnsered was rude. Said not taking apps for a few weeks in a very rude voice. Wich ok. But could have been nicer and more professional about it. Ive been living here almost 4 yrs. I love the staff. I know this staff is doing as good a job as they can. When you live in government subsidized housing, you wont get perfection. They have a very small budget and ar e doing what they can with it. The apartments are lovely for government housing!! Yes, the upstairs neighbors are loud, but thats how it is with upstairs neighbors no matter where you live. I once lived in a very high end apartment complex and my upstairs neighbors were just as loud so we cant expect any different here. Every time Ive had a problem and took it to the management, they took care of it right away. The only bad thing for me, personally, is that Im out growing the apartment!! Sure, neighbors are also bad sometimes, but no matter where you live, that can also be the case....you cant put that on the management...they cant tell who will be good or bad neighbors. But, if I have a problem, they take care of it right away. Its a lovely complex. So, Im happy here with the few exceptions that would be anywhere Id live. more ... hide ...

Today I signed my lease for the seventh time here at CedarGlades Apartments. I Love this place! It all has to do with our manager Katie. She works hard everyday to ensure that every tenant is treated fairly and that the rules here are enforced for perfect harmony. The grounds are beautiful here thanks to the hard work of her and our maintenance man Gerald. Thanks Katie for a job well done and making this place Home. more ... hide ...

They dont fix anything that is broken that put a patch on it. After 3 months of high electric bills they finally somewhat fix the water leak but dont bother to give you a discount on your rent when the bill is $150 dolla rs more then normal. So if you always want to have problems and nothing ever get fixed and pay way to much money even though this is supposed to be income based then I guess you might like it here another wise I would try to find somewhere else to live. more ... hide ...
