I really appreciate the exposed brick in my apartment, as well as the neutral colors of the walls and carpet in foyer, living room, and bedrooms. Plus, I'm close to my children's schools and downtown Lancaster. CONS: The colors and style of my kitchen and bathroom are terribly outdated; it doesn't match with the rest of the decor I like so much. If I could remodel them with tasteful colors it would look much more modern. Additionally, some neighbors can be unsympathetic to me as a single mom with small children who have behavioral issues; this can be quite stressful when they complain about noise during morning or evening routines that are usually quiet at night (except for rare episodes). Despite these things that bother me, it's still an okay place overall - if they allowed me to change up those two rooms plus fix up some wear-and-tear on the carpet then this would easily become a four or 4.5 star rating! more ... hide ...
