The manager sometimes charges a hundred dollars and more in cash for a supplementary parking permit for us to have a second parking spot for family and friends to stay overnight. She should not be collecting a fee for the second permit; she is pocketing the money from the tenants for the parking passes. Most of the inhabitants obtain food from the Corpus Christi Food Bank; she cancelled it in December. The manager did this so the tenants would not be receiving their usual monthly delivery of food. She did allow the Food Bank to come back in January 2016. The recreation room, also known as the Club House, had been rented out to outsiders for private functions in December and the manager was collecting the money. No outside parties are allowed. This woman manager believes she is like a deity controlling all tenants. She treats everyone badly. Eight to ten people have access to the office, so that they can go in to watch cable TV; these are her favorites. This place needs investigation by the Corpus Christi Housing Authority and the Federal Government, who pays the majority of these disabled people. They pay a portion according to their income. It is disheartening that one manager has so much power. SOMEONE NEEDS TO INTERVENE. The firm that owns the building is based in Houston, Texas; they are slumlords. more ... hide ...

I have lived here two years and Elvira is a wonderful manager she does so much for the veterans and for the elderly she does more than previous managerswe are so Blessed to have her here
