Just moved in and already having problems. The flat was not ready to be occupied when we signed the contract after having viewed pictures of the apartment (my misjudgment, won't let it happen again). I figured that since they took pictures of the dwelling, they would have found the issues, but this flat is clearly not ready to be moved into. The back door is incomplete and bugs and dirt are entering, so I'm using a box to keep it closed. They have put in a service request, yet they still have not arrived to look at it, showing that the maintenance team is very slow. Furthermore, the apartment was not clean and if they paid someone to do it, they should be refunded because the kitchen had a sticky residue and the cupboards were nasty, not to mention the carpet. They came to "clean" it on the day we moved in, but it is still dirty. It is covered in gunk, and when wiped, it has a strange color, therefore it should be removed. I usually don't like to criticize, however, if I can help someone make the best choice for their relocation, then I believe it is worth it. On a different note, the leasing office is very nice and accommodating, but this is trivial compared to the other difficulties we have encountered. more ... hide ...
