Honestly had a good time living here only for the simply fact of the location Was really dissatisfied with how this property is managed The day I moved out I reserved the elevators and had to fight the maintenance employees to use the elevators to re Honestly had a good time living here only for the simply fact of the location Was really dissatisfied with how this property is managed The day I moved out I reserved the elevators and had to fight the maintenance employees to use the elevators to remove my belongings Like what was the point in the reservation if your own staff cant follow the schedulennMy rent increased from 1600 to 1900 for a studio after a one year lease which is just a ridiculous increase Some of the staff are nice but overall these people just dont care about the tenants I had Autopay set up on my account and you would think that the management company who asked for 30 day notice would cancel the billing but no they didnt I was charged for another month and when I called they said oh you have to call your bank For what to update your autopay system Like they should have at least told me to update it If you want to go to JC dont go here youll get better service elsewhere more ... hide ...

IF I COULD GIVE THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX NEGATIVE STARS I 1000 WOULD DO My roommate and I moved in August 2020 and moved out in less than a year Where do I even beginnnFirst off ROACHES LOTS AND LOTS OF THEM Just see the pictures Ive attached They are IF I COULD GIVE THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX NEGATIVE STARS I 1000 WOULD DO My roommate and I moved in August 2020 and moved out in less than a year Where do I even beginnnFirst off ROACHES LOTS AND LOTS OF THEM Just see the pictures Ive attached They are EVERYWHERE In the bedroom kitchen cabinets bathroom showers hallway and pantries the list could go on We had called the building manager to see if there was anything we could do and all he did was LOOK AROUND SAID TO USE THE EXTERMINATOR which we have been doing and it did NOT work and then gave an attitude and left We tried sealing the walls and taping the vents but somehow these ROACHES found a way in DO NOT keep food in the pantry We had an unopened pasta box in the pantry and when we went to go open it it was INFESTED WITH ROACHES These ROACHES live in the compactor room which is on every floor At night we would be terrified to see these ROACHES fly and all over the placennSecond the FIRE ALARM Let me tell you this FIRE ALARM goes off EVERY WEEK In the mornings 3 OR 4 AM in the afternoon in the evening when youre sleeping That is NOT an exaggeration It is so bad that even the fire department would take their time coming to the building Probably because they know its not an actual emergency And to top it all off the building does not give updates on why the FIRE ALARM goes offnnThird the HOT WATER and BOILER There is barely any HOT WATER available after 700PM Most Fridays the boiler would have problems and there wouldnt even be any hot water available until hours later Imagine coming back home from a hard day of work and not being able to shower in comfortnnFourth the AIR CONDITIONING The AIR CONDITIONING did not start until midsummer You could possibly be dying in the heatnnLastly RUDE STAFF When we were moving out we scheduled a move out date with the building complex We had my roommates brother help out and let me tell you the STAFF IS RUDE As my roommates brother was helping us carry one box out of the building lobby one of the buildings staff member had made a comment it doesnt look good that you keep walking in and out basically in our business They had the audacity to say they would charge us for moving out our own boxes goes to show how up to date and mannered this place isnnAs per the location yes the location is wonderful Its very close to the PATH stationNew York There are many restaurants and rent is cheaper than usual for this place however please take in account EVERYTHING I said above ROACHES FIRE ALARMS GOING OFF NO HOT WATERBOILER NO AIR CONDITIONING RUDE STAFF more ... hide ...

The Metropolis Towers, despite being older, have maintenance issues that are efficiently and effectively dealt with. Moreover, the rents are quite reasonable. I have been living at 270 Marin Blvd. since 2015 and could not be happier with the staff, Jerome, Carlos, Jaron, Rene, the other Carlos, Anthony, parking lot attendant Ricky, and the new super Domingo, all of whom are friendly, helpful and competent. During the pandemic, they have been instrumental in reminding us to wear face masks and practice social distancing. Our building has a close-knit family atmosphere due to its many caring residents. Its proximity to the PATH trains and Newark Avenue, its large parking lot, spacious laundry rooms, dog run, and nearness to supermarkets, Starbucks, and Dunkin€™ Donuts make it an ideal place to live. In the summer, there is live music, and a food and vegetable market at the start of Grove Street. All in all, I have been incredibly pleased with my residence here! more ... hide ...
