I 1000% WOULD DO! My roommate and I moved in August 2020 and moved out in less than a year. Where do I even begin...First off, ROACHES! LOTS AND LOTS OF THEM! LOTS AND LOTS OF THEM! Just see the pictures Ive attached. They are EVERYWHERE! In the bedroom, kitchen cabinets, bathroom showers, hallway and pantries, the list could go on! We had called the building manager to see if there was anything we could do and all he did was LOOK AROUND, SAID TO USE THE EXTERMINATOR (which we have been doing and it did NOT work) and then gave an attitude and left. We tried sealing the walls and taping the vents, but somehow these ROACHES found a way in. DO NOT keep food in the pantry. We had an unopened pasta box in the pantry and when we went to go open it, it was INFESTED WITH ROACHES. These ROACHES live in the compactor room, which is on every floor. At night, we would be terrified to see these ROACHES fly and all over the place.Second, the FIRE ALARM! Let me tell you, this FIRE ALARM goes off EVERY WEEK. In the mornings (3 OR 4 AM), in the afternoon, in the evening, when youre sleeping! That is NOT an exaggeration! It is so bad, that even the fire department would take their time coming to the building. Probably, because they know its not an actual emergency. And to top it all off, the building does not give updates on why the FIRE ALARM goes off.Third, the HOT WATER and BOILER. There is barely any HOT WATER available after 7:00PM. Most Fridays, the boiler would have problems and there wouldnt even be any hot water available until hours later! Imagine coming back home from a hard day of work and not being able to shower in comfort.Fourth, the AIR CONDITIONING. The AIR CONDITIONING did not start until mid-summer. You could possibly be dying in the heat.Lastly, RUDE STAFF. When we were moving out, we scheduled a move out date with the building complex. We had my roommates brother help out and let me tell you, the STAFF IS RUDE! As my roommates brother was helping us carry one box out of the building lobby, one of the buildings staff member had made a comment \"it doesnt look good that you keep walking in and out\", basically in our business! They had the audacity to say they would charge us for moving out our own boxes.. goes to show how up to date and mannered this place is.As per the location, yes the location is wonderful. Its very close to the PATH station/New York. There are many restaurants and rent is cheaper than usual for this place, however please take in account EVERYTHING I said above: ROACHES, FIRE ALARMS GOING OFF, NO HOT WATER/BOILER, NO AIR CONDITIONING, RUDE STAFF! more ... hide ...
