The office will deny it, but do your research and you'll discover that this is common for many inhabitants. The grounds are not well-kept; the trash compactor malfunctions recurrently and emits an odour that spreads to the adjacent building.The walls are so thin that it's difficult to regulate the temperature, and you can hear your neighbours' every move, including their footsteps and the running of their washers. I never met mine, but I knew most of their names!Property rules are not implemented; children run around unattended, race in front of cars, and leave bikes and toys all over the grounds. Music blasts on the weekends, people don't clean up after their animals, and garbage is scattered everywhere.The office staff is very impolite and rarely answers the phone or replies to messages. When they do, they rarely solve the issue. Maintenance leaves behind a mess and an overwhelming smell of smoke, making you wish you had taken care of it yourself.To summarise, the closets are massive and the pantry is nice, but that's the only good part. If you need a secure and safe home, this is not the right spot. The security gate has never functioned right since tenants keep breaking the chain or sensors, and my car has been subjected to vandalism on two occasions when the gate was actually working. There are issues with the outside maintenance, ranging from trash in bins on the playground for four months to people discarding diapers and food containers on the ground, to not having access to the compactor for the trash bags, boxes, and furniture. Small repairs take weeks and major repairs are nearly impossible to get done. We worked with the previous property manager for almost four months and were constantly put off until, after numerous emails and calls to the upper manager, we eventually saw the carpenter only to have the work that needs to be done estimated.
