Management doesnt care of residents safety. Wont crack down about gun shots every other weekend. Management states that the tenants have to pay maintenance for their time if anything needs repaired.Just because its a income based, tenants still should be treated with dignity & respect. If only the housing authority knew just how these apartments are being run, they would withdrawal their funding or hold management accountable or force them to fulfil their management responsibilities correctly.Just shameful. more ... hide ... It was only after I contacted the city and the property's managers that the issue was resolved. Maintenance never arrives until you're practically haranguing them and they use inappropriate language in your apartment, not to mention not wearing masks during the COVID-19 peak. On top of that, the complex is so poorly built and insulated that it costs over $300 a MONTH in gas bills to keep the apartment between 58-64 degrees. Even with my apartment kept freezing, I could hardly afford the bills and I had a studio! I was told that the apartment I was getting had been updated, when in reality it had cracks in the walls, the toilet seat wouldn't stay on the toilet, and there were rips in the floor. The cleaning and repairs weren't scheduled until the day I was moving in and, even then, we weren't allowed to touch the counters for the first 24 hours.
