I had been a tenant at Gibson Ridge Apartments for 3 years with no issues whatsoever until I received a call from the site manager stating I did not pay my rent nor sign my lease renewal and had 2 days to vacate The site manager claimed she had stuck I had been a tenant at Gibson Ridge Apartments for 3 years with no issues whatsoever until I received a call from the site manager stating I did not pay my rent nor sign my lease renewal and had 2 days to vacate The site manager claimed she had stuck a notice to vacate in my door nearly 30 days prior I never received it and paid my rent as scheduled I was shocked by the phone call demanding I vacate the unit I debated with the manager stating she didnt have the right to call and tell me i had 2 days to vacate I had my bank statement to verify my payment Also i took time off to go renew my lease and the office was closed The manager never rescheduled and I mistakenly assumed that she had all my information for renewal nym info was the same as the past years and had no significant changes I was absolutely shocked After leaving work I dreaded coming home as she lives in the complex also I had a packet of papers taped to my door simply stating Gibson Ridge was not renewing my lease and I had 30 days to vacate more ... hide ...

They dont want to pay there venders when they do pay there venders they wright bad check and then dont want to take care of it the management company dont want to deal with you As long as your working for free thats great

MORE AFFORABLE APARTMENTS JOHNSON CITY, TN 37601

I lived in apartment #7, which was one of the updated 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartments. However, the updates were cheaply done. For instance, This was my first apartment in Johnson City and it was the worst mistake ever. I lived in apartment #7, which was one of the updated 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartments. However, the updates were cheaply done. For instance, you could see the patch work in the walls, the drawers in the kitchen did not pull out properly, and paint would peel from being painted over multiple times. In addition, people would maintenance your apartment without notice and just walk in. The lawn care was also very loud. I ended up having them terminate my 12 month lease after 5 months due to my neighbor in #8 being EXTREMELY loud. She would play music upwards until midnight and management would not handle the issue. Her guests were just as loud and disrespectful towards me just because I would ask if they would turn down the music because I had class/homework to finish. During the day, the music was much worse and I could hear word for word what song she was listening to from my apartment. Again, management would not handle any of this and let it continue. In my 5 months here, there has also been 2 times that peoples car were broken into and their stuff thrown in the street. Lastly, I would come home after being at school and my entire apartment would smell like weed and cigarettes from other renters smoking inside their apartments . Other than all of that,the apartment complex is conveniently located to downtown Johnson City and to ETSU but there are better places to rent from more ... hide ... Making a rental inquiry
