I recently moved out of Steeplechase. Michelle in the front office is so kind and puts in a lot of effort to make sure that everyone has a good time living there. We had a continuous cockroach problem throughout the whole year we stayed there. It wasn't our apartment's fault, and Michelle sent out an exterminator twice to try to help, but it just didn't work out. Even if you keep your apartment clean, if other tenants don't, it will inevitably affect your own place. This isn't something the office can be blamed for, they did all they could. The only major issue I had while living there was the people around me. People would take up two parking spots, not clean up after their pets and leave their dogs out on balconies to bark all night. I really appreciate that Steeplechase doesn't have any breed or weight restrictions on pets, but it's still annoying when people don't clean up after their animals. The reason we moved was because our rent increased significantly when it was time for renewal, and I understand that this is due to the cost of rents increasing everywhere. Had it not gone up, we would still be living there. Just keep in mind, it's an apartment. You live close to one another, but this one is better than most in the area. They always follow up with you and make sure all of your questions are answered. I cannot say enough good things about her and everyone else at Steeplechase. The maintenance team is also very quick to respond to any issues that arise and they keep you updated on the status of repairs.
