I'm trying to rent a house and the folks at Saguaro Villas haven't responded in 24 hours despite my being a good tenant for the past nine months. The original paint smell was so overwhelming that it gave me headaches after the first night, even after nine months with open windows and an air purifier, it still makes my wife feel ill. I complained to management but nobody came to inspect until I mentioned my wife was living there all day, but no one ever showed up! The only things going for this place are its quietness and friendly neighbors; however, be prepared to spend several hundred dollars on appliances like an air purifier, microwave, and space heater due to potential health hazards from paint chemicals or cigarette smoke.more ...hide ...

There has frequently been no working laundry facilities! There is a HUGE cockroach problem in addition to other pests to include lizards and wasps. Work orders/repairs do not get done. The AC works poorly when working. The floor plan is nice. Lots of sq. Footage. Large gated private back yards. Pretty quite complex. However there has been vandalism issues. The new property manager is #3 in the past few months. So far she seems quite overwhelmed by this run down property.Has Worked with government housing programs. All utilities included. The walls/ceiling/floor were thin, there were single pane windows, and there were a lot of dangerous dogs and litter around the property. I had several close calls with these dogs when I was simply walking to my car, taking out the garbage or going to do the wash. On one occasion, a neighbor and their pit bull threatened me after the dog attempted to attack me. Another neighbor informed me that the same pit bull had already tried to attack people and other canines. I alerted the office, but they did nothing, saying that pit bulls were not permitted on the premises. However, there were many of them there. I waited for a few weeks, but the same problem with the dog and its owner arose. I informed the office that I needed to move out for the safety of myself and my pet. If my life is being threatened, I should not be required to adhere to the lease, particularly since the office could not provide me with a safe place to live. Now, Brittany Court is attempting to charge me over $2300 in penalties for leaving early. I tried to resolve the issue, but they made no attempt to make things right. I would assume a reasonable person would have been more compassionate. I would advise anyone to stay away from this apartment and spend a little extra money to go somewhere more secure.more ...hide ...

And then we got a NEW OFFICE MANAGER, in January of 2022, and I went to the office and personally talked with her , and she actually listened to my complaints and she took care of everything and convinced me not to break my lease because the complaints and issues were taken care of. So I still recommend Ten50 apartments to live in. Great place, so peaceful and quite.more ...hide ...
