It was a studio with a musty smell. When I mentioned this to the management, they swore no mold was present, but after I hired my own mold company, it was discovered. They refused to fix it, so I had to contact a lawyer to make them repair the closet wall which had brown stains, bubbling paint, and mold in the walls. Every time it rained heavily, I had water seeping into the kitchen and carpet. They only offered a fan to dry the carpets, and never fixed the leaks. To keep the humidity down, I had to keep a dehumidifier running all the time, which increased my electricity bill. The carpets were stained and ripped when I moved in, and I had to shampoo them myself, but they still charged me a $400 cleaning fee when I left. The sink was leaking for two months before they fixed it, and I had to empty a pot under the sink a few times a day. The owner was always rude and would yell whenever I called him with a complaint or query. If I could rate this place, it'd be a zero out of five.more ...hide ...
