This is an awful place to live and I strongly advise against it. The office personnel are indifferent to car thefts and burglaries, and their attitude is terrible when one tries to address these matters. The office personnel are indifferent to car thefts and burglaries, and their attitude is terrible when one tries to address these matters. As a maintenance worker for GREYSTAR PROPERTIES, my air conditioning unit was not fixed for a week after it went out at Villa La Jolla. Cars are broken into on a daily basis and the office staff's response is to say that it's worse somewhere else, as if that would make anyone feel safer. Not only that, but the people working in the office display unprofessional behavior and act like they are from the hood. The 24/7 security simply walks around on their phone all day and never interferes with any crime taking place. The office staff also stated that the cameras are useless at night, so they can't identify license plate numbers. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with apartments. Do not go here - you will be treated like garbage, particularly by the manager. Please save yourself time and money and look elsewhere for a place to stay. These apartments are infested with roaches and bed bugs and should be avoided at all costs. more ... hide ...
