The illumination from neighboring businesses is sufficient to see without needing a flashlight. One can only wish the people who once ran the Northline SRO are still the owners of the land, as it could be helpful to people without more than a tent or one of those "miniature houses" that you read about in California. The only person who can deem someone a trespasser is the property owner and they cannot be held at fault if an unknown intruder is harmed on the premises.Let's hope the landholders never respond to phone calls regarding potential squatters...Sometimes the smartest thing to do is nothing. As legislators examine urban camping, people may be in search of a secure place to stay. There is protection (and safety) in numbers. You are welcome to drop by. I'm in the grass hut until I come up with a way to return to North Texas. Give me a shout if you want to see if I'm here. If I'm not, PLEASE, relax for a while. There may be a container of water, some kind of pre-packaged pastries, and Mountain Dew in there--perhaps something in a can. Help yourself. When I return, I promise to not be empty-handed and I will attempt not to wake you if you're asleep.more ...hide ...

I never used the stove or oven and the controls kept falling off. The interior hallway was always hot and smelly. You had to use their laundry facility since there were no hook ups for a washer and dryer in the unit. The washers and dryers weralways out of order. The dryers would catch o fire and set off the fire alarm. The fire alarm went off regularly and sounded for extended periods of time. The first set of people in the office had to be let go as they did not keep accurate records of payments. This u unfortunately caused quite a few people to lose their units. The outside of the building looked fine , but the inside was a different story. Needless to say the neighborhood was scary. I was happy to leave.more ...hide ...

Housing is pretty good and they offer a gym and other public resources for local residents here. This housing is for \"single people only\" I believe. Its a good, affordable place to be around town here in Denver Harbor. Its actually probably one of the best if not the best apartment housing in Denver Harbor locally in the Fifth Ward District. Its \"simple\" but nothing too \"super special\". I suggest a nice \"visit\" to the residence on a not-so-busy day to really \"feel the place out\" as if you might want to live here anytime soon. Its good, warts and all. Ive considered and still may consider getting a place here as well...more ...hide ...

The maintenance is always doing wonderful they clean up the property very well, sometimes it€™s rough from the weekends, but they get the job done done. The management is great I hope they keep up the great work towards the property & community. This is a nice place to start doing better if u take advantage of the opportunities you are given to rise above for a more stable future. Been here 3 years with no problems from the office they are always there doing they€™re best even when the staff changes to new people.more ...hide ...
