After we left, someone was already in our apartment a week later, indicating that the damage was more than what could be fixed in a week. We asked for a new apartment for almost two months, and only got around $200 in compensation for damages from the previous tenant. The staircase to our third apartment was falling apart, and they only tried to "repair" it by adding a couple of boards in the wrong place. The office is hardly ever open when you need something, but they won't hesitate to text you from home to levy fines. You will pay more money than the place is worth, and you won't get your full security deposit back, even if you didn't do anything wrong. He asked what the next step was to secure it and was told to submit his application. He did that on July 12th with a $50 application fee. Then I, as a co-signer, applied and had to pay an additional $50, since there was no way to do that on the website. I even called to make sure. My application was done on July 15th and we were told that we would hear back in 3-5 business days. When we hadn't heard anything by July 21st, we called and were told that someone had applied a week before us, so they were waiting on their decision, but they would let us know the next day, Friday, July 22nd. There was no call on the 22nd. On Tuesday, July 26, we called four times and finally got a human on the fourth call. They said they would check the status and get back to us that afternoon, but they didn't. I feel that this whole ordeal was just to get $100 from us for an apartment that wasn't even available. The customer service here is awful; it's hard to get an answer and they don't follow through on their promises. Either this place doesn't need more ... hide ...
