I have been hunting for an apartment for a while now and I stumbled across Villas at Mandarin Bay on apartments.com. The rent was too good to be true and the pictures looked nice. I looked at the reviews on Google and while the majority of them were positive, the negative ones were very thorough and worrying. I started to suspect that the good reviews were not true. I went to the complex to investigate and what I saw was enough to make me realize that I would never want to live there. Cats were everywhere, running around and sitting on people's porches and cars. In addition, there were pot holes big enough for a person to stand in them. Shopping carts were spread throughout the community. The atmosphere was not inviting. I did not even go in to ask for a tour as I was sure the inside would be worse than the outside. Someone posted on TikTok about their experience with leasing with Villas at Mandarin Bay and revealed an unhygienic and infested apartment on their moving day. I decided not to move here after being approved for a couple of reasons but the main one being the attitude of the leasing office Samantha was nice when giving me the initial tour of their renovated one bedroom But throughout the application process I decided not to move here after being approved for a couple of reasons but the main one being the attitude of the leasing office Samantha was nice when giving me the initial tour of their renovated one bedroom But throughout the application process i found her to be a bit rude and short with me It was impossible to reach her by phone so i would always eventually have to email her to get any response When we finally spoke she demanded I give her a decision on the spot or shell move on to someone else even though I was told initially i would have 48 hrs to make a decision Which is reasonable seeing that moving is a big financial decision plus i wasnt even sure what my total move in cost would be yet I just didnt feel like i wasnt getting a warm welcome into the community I got off the phone feeling like i was more of a burden than a potential tenant Im not sure if what they offer is worth the money with no amenities except a laundry room but the renovations they have done do look nice more ... hide ...
