I'm not a resident here but I have evidence of mold. This mold has been reported to the Property Manager, the Regional Manager, and Diane Wilson (Troubleshooter) yet nothing has been done to fix the problem. Whenever management makes an effort, it's usually only during inspections or when a new tenant moves in and they attempt to hide the mold with paint or by wiping down the exterior wall. This issue has permeated the walls. The tenants have to clean the mold in various parts of their apartment, some of whom are elderly. It is the Property Manager and Regional Manager's responsibility, not the tenants. Additionally, the dehumidifiers that were installed have not solved the mold problem and have only increased the utility bills. Management does not care about this as it does not affect them or their relatives.more ...hide ...
First Id like to start off with the good things about Water Garden Its the residents For the most part they are a great group of residents who really care about each other a sense of family people helping each other I truly miss them But I returnFirst Id like to start off with the good things about Water Garden Its the residents For the most part they are a great group of residents who really care about each other a sense of family people helping each other I truly miss them But I return often to help and to share some laughsnnSecondly Id like to respond to BJs post There was and IS an ongoing mold issue Several apartments have experienced mold and those that wereare really bad have had dehumidifiers installed in the wall in the dining room area of their units They are noisy and increase the monthly utility costs for those residents without any compensation from the management or owner This step was only taken after a group of residents sought help from Diane Wilson Troubleshooter on ABC11 I personally had mold in my apartmentnnWhen I had the opportunity to move the property manager took it upon herself to enter buying a house as my reason not to renew my lease I never told them I was buying a house I crossed off the reason she chose and inserted my paragraph listing several reasonsnnSome of my reasons were the way the management staff treats the residents the lack of communication and especially the unwillingness to answer questions of residents in a public forum and then never ever addressing concerns The building is five years old and the carpets in the the common areas lobby hallways game room etc were filthy We asked several times about having them cleaned especially since pets are allowed but until just last week they were never cleaned and rarely even vacuumed There are rules but they dont apply to everyone Some residents have multiple pets but only pay for one once again it depends on who you are This same thing applies to parking When you park in a spot that is supposed to be for residents of the family apartments or for your guests you get a notice on your car that you will be towed But once again this doesnt apply to everyone Many car tags are out of date Surprise It depends on who you are Also the number of inspections is ridiculous and they usually give you a window of a week Therefore those with pets have to confine the animals till the inspection is completednnMold Mold MoldnnAnd if you decide to check availability be sure you see the actual apartment you will be getting Some future residents were shown one apartment but were given another such as a handicapped apartmentnnBe aware Know what youre getting Speak to actual residents Ask them questionsmore ...hide ...

to be honest i love the thought of this place but i been having trouble with the office since i gave them my deposit. the manage that was in the office before Sandra was great love her, but when the office management chato be honest i love the thought of this place but i been having trouble with the office since i gave them my deposit. the manage that was in the office before Sandra was great love her, but when the office management chance and Sandra became in charge its been difficult. let me start saying that the office hours suck. They are open Mon- Friday 9-5. one day out of the week youll find that the office is closed. Sandra will be sitting in her office with the blinds open and youll will find yourself wondering why the office is closed. If they need more help then hire more help. They have another lady that works shes great. i dont understand why she isnt in there more often. i rather deal with her then Sandra. The maintenance man on site is okay. every time he sees me he asks if everything is okay with the apartment, but i have had A/C problem with my A/C unit it stop working 5 times in on month. My carpet is starting to pull up ( i dont have any kid, dog, cat). My roof was has water damage. My drier stop working had to get them to replace it 3 times and it still does not work like it should to this day i just gave up can just run my clothes though the dry twice. all of this and i only been here for 9 months. to make things work i need a support dog. i notify the office about the me needing the support dog. Sandra told me dont worry about the im gonna get approved for your dog, whole week went by and i didnt hear anything about me being approved so i called the office no one answer went to the office and they told me other lady in the office and told me that Sandra will call me back. that same lady came up to my door say that they need some papers filled out. so i went to my doctor and got the note turn in on at Tuesday. that Tuesday Sandra was sitting in the office but the office was closed. i tried to get her attention through the window because her blinds was open, she could clearly she me i put the doctors note in the drop box. long story short the office was closed all week after that day and i might have to find another support dog. i dont suggest this place. look at the review and when they were review a year ago they were doing better because Sandra wasnt there.more ...hide ...
