When I was told that it was still available, I expressed my interest, and the lady sent me pictures of the place - International Village - which we both liked. She asked us to provide our information and documents, and our credit scores and incomes were both higher than the requirements. I was confident that we would get the place, but then the lady contacted me three days in a row, requesting our last four payment stubs. I sent those, and she told me the association had approved us and it was now up to us to send the lease. When I didn't hear back from her after two days, I asked her if there had been any conclusions, but she didn't answer. When I called her, she said she would call me back later, but she didn't. Instead, she texted me to say they had decided to rent it to someone else. I pointed out that she had previously informed me that the association had approved us, and while I appreciated the experience, I did think it was unprofessional.more ...hide ...
