I recommend (1) completing the necessary paperwork for leasing thoroughly, since it can be rather protracted; still, adhere to the guidelines and you'll be patient with the approval process. (2) If your application is accepted, Maria will notify you when a unit is available and the date you can move in. Signing the digital lease is easy and effective. (3) Afterward, sign up for the resident portal to establish a direct rent payment and to contact the maintenance department. I've had two minor maintenance issues and the portal made communication easier than making a call. It has been a week now and the dishwasher has ceased to function, not even a light turning on. I phoned the maintenance team and they promised to come the same day, so I took off from work to wait for them, yet they never showed. They sent an email to my husband saying they would come the next day and I missed another day of work waiting, only to be let down. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, a very rude gentleman shouted at my daughter and me, informing us that he had no one to send and he did not know when they would come. This is outrageous, I had to sacrifice two days of work, as well as my daughter's job, and still no one came until today. We called, emailed, and visited the office multiple times, yet no one did anything. I'm paying rent to live here, not to be treated like I'm nothing. No consideration for us!
