The absolute WORST property management I have ever encountered! My uncle passed away last week and he was living at Birchwood in Hopewell. Law enforcement were present, as was an ambulance to take away his remains, and the on-call maintenance was not The absolute WORST property management I have ever encountered! Today, my sister and I went to the office to discuss how to clear out his apartment (I had notified them of his death and our plans for cleaning it yesterday). When we arrived at the main door, the property manager was extremely unprofessional, callous, insulting, and hung up on us! She began to shout at us, claiming that we hadn't notified her when we had, though she had simply not returned our calls. She didn't even offer her sympathies for his death. My grandmother, who is currently quarantined and had just lost her son, had to call this woman and was treated rudely as well. The property manager told us we would have to go to court to gain access to his apartment, though my grandmother is listed as his next of kin on his paperwork and we had his obituary. I would NEVER recommend this facility. Even while he was living there, my uncle had countless issues with the property manager. Spend your money where the management is concerned about the welfare of their tenants! Terrible place for seniors!!! more ... hide ...

Office staff doesnt answer the phone or return phone calls I know we are in a pandemic but most businesses respond to message left not this one

My mom just moved here earlier this year and she is very happy The apartments are spacious and set up very well The staff is friendly I would recommend Birchwood at Hopewell to anyone looking for an apartment
