It has been three years since I was the first one to receive keys to this place, and the experience has generally been positive. The apartments are quite nice, especially for the cost, and the trail, park, and gym are an extra bonus. Lately, though, the management has been a source of contention; they send out numerous emails dictating what is not permitted in the community, like a principal giving orders to students. Recently, I encountered a particularly annoying incident where staff disposed of my holiday decorations, which were heirlooms passed down from my late grandparent, without telling me or getting my consent. When I asked why, I was told it was a violation of my lease, even though I had put up the same decorations the previous two years without any problems. They also claimed it was a breach of the lease agreement to store items in the walkway. I feel that the rules are unreasonable and their execution is unprofessional. I was one of the first individuals to move into the opening building. I adore it here. My daughter goes to school close by and can walk there. We are allowed to have pets, some utilities are included, rooms are large with huge closets (I only wish my I was one of the first individuals to move into the opening building. I adore it here. We are allowed to have pets, some utilities are included, rooms are large with huge closets (I only wish my daughter was bigger!), washer/dryer, trails, kids' park, private balcony, and it is a non-smoking apartment. The only downside is that the walls are thin and you can hear some noise, but if you just turn up your TV volume a bit, you're good! I read some reviews on Glassworks and The Forges, and some people were misinformed on what they said. I'm sure of this because I've lived here since it opened. They said one side was for Section 8 and those people lived in "luxury," but I know a lot of people in here and there is no Section 8. I myself am not on it! I got my apartment the same as many others did: I applied, went for an interview, and moved in. I was background checked like everyone else is. Some people posted pictures of the cones in the road, which were not able to be fixed immediately, but the issue was resolved after we experienced a flood for a few hours. This place is huge The grounds are beautiful I get a gym and the apartments here are really nice Highly recommend if you can get in I hear they have a 6 month waitlist
