The children were always screaming and leaving their toys and bikes around, there was an ice cream truck that would continuously play the same tune even when it was warm and sunny, kids would ring the doorbell and people would knock, neighbors would blast music until 3 in the morning, cats had a ton of fleas, and our cats got fleas too. The mold and insulation led to a leak in the ceiling above our fridge. It was a shady part of town, with homeless people coming and going without consideration for the other tenants. My car even got broken into a year after we moved in. If you're looking for a reasonably priced place to live (which is not the case here anymore since the rent plus utilities and laundry cost $975 in total), look elsewhere. There are plenty of other apartments that would be more suitable and provide decent service when you need it. more ... hide ...

We moved across the country to Salem and took a risk with this place Dont take the risk Located in a really sketchy part of town with homeless people walking throughout the apartment complex constantly The inside really wasnt that bad and was fair pr We moved across the country to Salem and took a risk with this place Dont take the risk Located in a really sketchy part of town with homeless people walking throughout the apartment complex constantly The inside really wasnt that bad and was fair price for a 2 bdr in Oregon We got lucky with nice neighbors The tow truck drives around multiples times a day and will tow your car any chance they get There is very limited visitor parking spots so if you have more than one vehicle good luck While we lived there they closed off about 10 visitor parking spots which is monumental there to build a street in the back and left everyone fighting for visitor spots This gave us no options so some days we would have to park one of our vehicles in a random 24hr parking lot on Lancaster and hope for the best We had one of our vehicles towed for backing up into a parking spot and was 400 to get back They used to have multiple dumpsters throughout the complex but decided to limit that to ONE trash compactor located near the very front that was constantly full You would just have to throw your trash bag on the ground nearby No other option One dumpster for hundreds of apartments Theres also stray cats EVERYWHERE They lay all over the cars and would have fights and leave blood spots all on my white car It was repulsive Our neighbors would feed them so of course they will never leave and are constantly reproducing We talked to the office about this multiple times and nothing was done The cats are also infested with fleas Our tiny dog had literally hundreds of fleas on him despite any attempts to get rid of them Anytime you take your dog outside they get swarmed all over again We only got rid of the fleas when we moved out and left The neighborhood kids have no supervision whatsoever and are disrespectful Constantly screaming and kicking soccer balls at our building and windows So overall this place sucked to live at and I wouldnt recommend to anyone more ... hide ...
