When I told them I would be down to pick up my mother's mail at the end of June, they told me they had already notified the post office that my mother had passed and were not taking anymore of her mail, even though she had every right to receive it until the end of June. When I called and left a message questioning my mother's deposit, all they did was send me a repeat letter. There was no verbal contact. Totally rude. Fast forward to August 28th, they called and left a message that they had some of my mother's mail and wanted to know what to do with it. I called and of course no one answered so I left a message asking them to hold onto it until I could retrieve it at some point the following week. When I drove down there, I was told that the mail had been sent back to the post office. Again, try listening to your messages!
