The workers in these group homes are violent and abusive toward the disabled residents living here This is infuriating to me and why Ive decided to file a formal complaint with both the attorney general and another consumer affairs agency Ive witnessThe workers in these group homes are violent and abusive toward the disabled residents living here This is infuriating to me and why Ive decided to file a formal complaint with both the attorney general and another consumer affairs agency Ive witnessed workers on numerous occasions yanking residents by their arms half shoving them through doorways and into handicapped vans Then Ive also seen one worker swat at one of the disabled residents while in the community I tried following them and taking down the license plate number but the workers knew I was following them So of course the best way for them to lose my trail was to speed off in the agency vehicle doing like 70 mph in a school zone The only reason I knew it was ARC of Southington though was because of the tax exempt they used in the store but I wished I had been more observant to the workers names and gotten their license plate number Those workers should be fired for what they do to the handicapped residents who are helpless and unable to defend themselves Just makes me so furiousmore ...hide ...

I have lived here at Flanders West for a little over a year and find it a very pleasant place to live. It is very clean and a lot of wild life has been seen in this nice and quiet area. We have bingo for money,bingo for prizes,adult coloring,crocheting club, and recently a cooking group has been started where they cook a delicious healthy meal free every Friday. I find it a comfortable and pleasant place to live during my elderly years. I recently adopted a cat to live with in my golden years so yes, even with size and other limitations pets are allowed here toomore ...hide ...
