The building is in a nice location however the lady at the front who is African American with glasses is very rude I door dash all in the area and most times than not Im able to just go up the elevator and drop the order off its very few where I need The building is in a nice location however the lady at the front who is African American with glasses is very rude I door dash all in the area and most times than not Im able to just go up the elevator and drop the order off its very few where I need to be let up However I have no issues with the rules So I came back and nicely asked her did I need to be let up since I was trying to deliver and she rudely responded you cant just go up there I told her I didnt know that this was my first time there This is also listed as a retirement community which I had no clue of until I did my research so I can do my review btw If youre dealing with elderly people then she definitely has no patience So then she asks me for the unit number I gave it to her and told her the name She couldnt locate them in the system so then she asked if I had a phone number I stated that I did and if she wanted me to call them She then said I have to call them you cant just go up there I then told her that that isnt what I said I said I can call them Had she allowed me to do my job she would have realized that door dash has a specific number for us to reach them and them for them to reach us Its not their actual numbers So since she wanted to continue to make it difficult I allowed her to keep calling a number that wasnt going to go through for her While she was doing that I wrote the customer and told them how difficult she was being and they stated they were coming down I told her that and I was going to stand and wait because my job is to hand it directly to them She insisted I just leave it on the desk My advice is do not make people doing their jobs so difficult and if you dont want to be there then dont Please improve the customer service Thank you more ... hide ...

Very.The building is infested with German roaches and bedbugs and it needs to be tented to make a dent in eradication.Everything was OK when my mom moved in but within six months, she reported feeling sick. I picked her up and she was disoriented and covered in red, swollen bites.We inspected her apartment to find that it was crawling with roaches and bedbugs. It was horrifying. My husband was the only one brave enough to enter to remove a few items and take photos and videos. We quickly moved my mom to our home and had a junk removal company throw away most of her treasured items. It was very traumatic for my mom and a huge headache for us to manage this issue.We believe that an apartment near her was treated with insecticides and it pushed these bugs into her apartment suddenly as until that point, she said shed only seen one or two on occasion but didnt want to complain. Shed kept her place neat and tidy and had recently had an inspection to which staff told her how nice it was. Which now were realizing this inspection was probably to check for bugs due to someone in a nearby apartment reporting them.The chemicals used are not what you want you to be breathing at 65 and up, or any age. I acquired a list of them from the exterminator the building used. When they fogged my moms apartment, they didnt evacuate neighboring residents and they told her to stay away for only a few hours. In a high-rise with shared walls, it doesnt make sense. And it also didnt work. When we returned at the end of the month to finalize her lease, it was still covered in bugs.And if you think bedbugs are no big deal - think again. They are very tough to get rid of once you have them. The exterminators we spoke with said that they dont like handling them and when they do, they charge thousands of dollars.I feel sorry for anyone living here with nowhere else to go. We spoke to a few other residents who acknowledged that the bed bugs and roaches are just part of the building and they put up with the vicious cycle. They report them, they spray, they come back again.Photos show traps my husband put under my moms bed. These photos were taken post-treatment so you can see how ineffective it was. We have videos of large roaches still scurrying about her apartment after treatment. The place was inhabitable and unhealthy.Our exterminator reviewed our photos and videos and said that it appeared - based on the infestation and size of bugs - that the building did not have an effective treatment plan.I dont know if there is anyway to help the people here but I wanted to start by making sure anyone considering this place knows this story. more ... hide ...
