After being assured a place in mid-September, we paid $500. However, when we called back in September the manager wouldn't answer or reply; so we had to take off work during the week to catch her. She then promised an apartment at the start of October but kept ignoring our calls. Outraged, we demanded a refund of our money as time was running out for us to find another living space for our family. To our dismay, a different manager told us that they had no record of us ever trying to get an apartment--we had been scammed by the original one! We visited again on Saturday (October 17th) but found them closed and have not yet received a refund even after talking with their owner (who tried claiming they weren't responsible). more ... hide ...
