I moved into this building in February 2018 and I don't think anyone should take seriously the reviews of someone who isn't a resident. Trudy, the building manager, is incredibly kind, thoughtful and hardworking, and the rest of the staff are always polite and courteous. People often come to the office with unreasonable and unlawful requests and I have seen how rude they can be to the employees, yet they still remain respectful. This building is in an excellent location in the center of the city with a view of the Schuylkill River and River walk. All utilities, including electricity, hot water and air conditioning, are included in the rent, as is parking for owners and visitors. It is very well maintained under Trudy's leadership. If you are a senior or plan to move into a senior housing, this is one of the best buildings in the city. There is also a tenant's council with arranged trips to Sight and Sound, Atlantic City, and various weekly and monthly activities such as crocheting classes, bingo, line dancing, movie nights, a van for grocery shopping, and a Christmas party. As a resident of the building, I take offense to the one-star reviews of people who claim to have been treated so badly, but have only visited this place once (so they say).
