Edit Rental Inquiry I have section 8, I currently live in Wall, SD with Pennington County Housing and have for past year. I am looking for a 1 bedroom apartment asap. I have a 7 year old service dog with papers and I receive SSI. I moved to Wall from Rapid City because I could not find a 1 bedroom in Rapid, it's a difficult housing situation. The manager of the complex left abrupt and it became an absolute MESS. I was told that my rent could be pro-rated during the month I was going to be moving out and that was not gr I lived at this location for two years+. Had to pay the full amount and then I was told during the month I was not staying that rent increased and they tacked on another $50. I was told when signing my agreement initially I would get a 30 day notice of rent increase and sign a paper. I never signed anything. As a tenant who was praised during inspections for having the cleanliest unit, treated the place like it was my own, was never late on rent - ever.
